Cornerstone Cafe’

Basement – North End
Open Sundays 9:00-10:30 am
(Currently not meeting until further notice)

Who are we?

We are a cafe located on the basement level, north end of our church. We are open every Sunday morning 9:00-10:30am, and
we serve several types of coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino, and juice, as well as a breakfast buffet with pastries, egg casseroles and fruit.

In 2003, we opened our doors, as a place to relax with friends and fellowship between worship services. We could never have imagined what a great ministry this little cafe would become for our members or visitors. One of the nicest surprises is the many generations we serve. From big to small, young to old, we have a huge crowd every Sunday. Some stop by and get their coffee to go, but most stay to visit. Within our first three years of opening, we outgrew our space and opened a second room – Cornerstone West – right across the hall.

Everyone is welcome to eat with us on Sunday mornings. The only payment is a free will offering in our giant coffee cup! Give what you can, or what you would at any wonderful breakfast buffet. All money collected goes back to our church, to both our Youth Program and our Missions. We are self-supporting, using only a small amount of the funds collected for supplies.

We are totally dependent on volunteers, to both staff the cafe and provide all the wonderful food, so we have a sign-up sheet in our entry for anyone who wants to work or cook for us. We always need food and we can train ANYONE to make coffee! Even though we have wonderful cooks who contribute every month, they can’t do it all. Baked or store-bought, all donations are greatly appreciated.

Please come find us! If you’ve never been to the Cornerstone Cafe before, just head downstairs. You will probably smell the wonderful aroma of coffee and breakfast long before you hear the buzz of conversation at the north end of the hall!
