Youth Ministries

A wonderful ministry opportunity is available for those youth in grades 6-8. Named eMERGE, this group will meet at 9:15 on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday. evenings from 6-7:30pm (during the school year) and will provide programming designed with the wonderful and unique needs of middle school youth in mind. This is an amazing period of development for young people socially, emotionally and spiritually and we are thrilled to have the chance to help them grow in their faith and to use their faith as an anchor during this time of transition. The name and logo symbolize where these youth are on their journey. They are emerging from childhood and entering a new phase of development. In addition, in keeping with the Crossroads theme, they are merging onto “the road of life”. The letters of the name stand for the following:

Middle schoolers

Crossroads youth group is a fun, dynamic and active group for those in grades 9-12. Meeting at 9:15 on Sunday mornings and from 6:30-8:00 on Sunday evenings, Crossroads strives for a balance between recreation, worship, service and personal/group growth. We believe that a personal, alive and growing relationship with Jesus is critical, so our goal is to take each young person that joins us, love them and give them opportunities to move forward on their personal faith journey. “Crossroads” speaks to the fact that young people in this age group are at a crossroads in their lives—facing many changes, challenges and decisions. We want to be there to support them through this time and pray that ultimately they will choose the “road of the cross” as a guiding force in their lives. Activities include swimming, bon fires, retreats, lock-ins, games, ice skating, skiing etc… Topics covered are relevant to teens. Our youth area includes a theater room, rec room and a café. We would love to have any interested youth join us!
