FUMC Safety Ministry Team
FUMC has procedures in place to give guidance to those responding to an emergency in the form of immediate assistance, medical, tornado, fire, bomb threat, lost child or an armed intruder.
If there is a need for emergency services, please call 9-1-1 as soon as possible and activate emergency procedures for the appropriate situation.
MISSION STATEMENT
The goals of the Safety Ministry team and all ministry members and volunteers are:
- To provide a safe and secure environment for all who worship, visit, work and volunteer at First United Methodist Church.
- To be unobtrusive and to promote an atmosphere conducive to a fulfilling and healthy worship experience, and
- To be facilitator’s of God’s vision, purpose, and mission of the First United Methodist Church by Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World.
